Position Overview

The Regional Sales Manager position for Action Pest Control provides leadership to the Sales Representatives (residential and commercial), General Managers, and Regional Manager to ensure success of the sales teams at each branch. Is directly responsible for the performance and results of all Action Pest Control branch sales, including but not limited to managing the day to day activities of the residential and commercial sales team. Creates and grows the sales function in a region by leading and achieving business expectations through appropriate management of all resources, including developing and implementing customer growth strategies, in partnership with the Regional Manager and General Managers.Manages and leads the residential and commercial sales team by providing training (in classroom and field) on all established policies and practices to ensure the team is equipped with the product knowledge, system, and selling skills, as well as completing ride-alongs during branch visits.Assist all sales reps with complex sales negotiations.Works with Regional Manager and General Managers to drive customer satisfaction and resolve customer issues in a timely manner.Operates within the policies and procedures of the company to create an environment that motivates people to be successful.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and directs the day to day activities of the residential and commercial sales team within a region.
  • Develops and implements customer growth strategies.
  • Maintains key customer relationships.
  • Works with the appropriate stakeholders to develop the regional sales plan, forecasts and budgets.
  • Communicates the mission and goals of the organization and region to the residential and commercial sales team.
  • Ensures the team is equipped with the product knowledge, system and selling-skills.
  • Evaluates staff performance and administers disciplinary actions consistent with company policy.
  • Works collaboratively with the Regional Managers and General Managers to define and share best practices and deliver solutions to customers.
  • Monitors performance results against plans by evaluating daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Conduct training and meetings, as and when needed with the sales representatives.
  • Assist sales reps with complex sales negotiations.
  • Participate in all sales representative interviews and provide feedback to the hiring manager and HR team.
  • Able to travel a minimum 3 days per week to branch locations.

Education and Experience Requirements 


• Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university or related work experience.
• Five years management or related experience.
