Position Overview
Responsible for performing analyses and reports for Finance department. Supports organization’s annual budget process, expense/service fee/staffing forecasts, or statistical reporting including financial performance, variance explanations and cost analysis. Assists in other financial research projects and analyses of operational results.


Responsibilities
1. Assists with monthly financial presentations and analysis.
2. Assists with the maintenance and reporting of operational metrics.
3. Provides analytical support and reporting for corporate functions and operations.
4. Manages forecasting to include detailed department level review of future cost trends.
5. Assists management with the completion of monthly and quarterly forecasts, annual budget and any associated analysis.
6. Identifies trends and makes recommendations to provide revenue enhancement, cost savings and profit improvement.
7. Creates and analyzes weekly and monthly sales reports to evaluate sales volume.
8. Assists with publishing revenue forecasts and monthly revenue variance analysis.
9. Assists with preparation of monthly financials & financial close package.
10. Assists with preparation of monthly forecasts, annual budget & board presentation packages.


Education and Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience required
• 1-2 years of experience in the accounting and/or finance required
• Master’s degree preferred
• CPA/CFA credential preferred


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and quantitative analytical skills
• Ability to operate independently and collaboratively within a team
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of accounting and finance
• Ability to assimilate and manipulate quantitative data from different sources
• Ability to identify variances and trends in data sets
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
