Position Overview

Provides end-user support and engages the partner(s) regarding our voice and contact center platform by submitting tickets into the assigned ticketing system.  Developing code to support modifications requested by the business.  Maintain communications with the customer providing regular updates until the issue/request has been resolved.


Responsibilities


  • Resolve issues within a 5-day service level, escalating issues not resolved within the service level to the Manager of Telecom
  • Documents existing infrastructure and software and maintains accurate and up-to-date inventories
  • Supports and adheres to project management and ITIL methodologies to test and support IT infrastructure and operational processes to meet client needs and published service levels
  • Works with third party vendors to integrate voice and contact center solutions
  • Works alongside peers to modify application code to support changes to call routing
  • Interfaces and leverages contact center reporting tools with other enterprise BI tools
  • Assists as needed with other infrastructure related projects

Education & Experience

  • 2-3 years’ experience using NoSQL, MySQL, MS SQL Databases required
  • 2-3 years’ object oriented programming experience required
  • 2-3 years’ experience with C Sharp Programming or similar language required
  • Programming experience with consuming API’s required
  • Experience designing, monitoring, and supporting IT systems required
  • Experience supporting Cisco Telepresence, Jabber, and UCCaaS is a plus
  • Experience with contact center software including advanced knowledge of ACD’s and PBX’s is a plus
  • Experience with Call Center Software Solutions and Studio scripting tool is a plus
  • Experience with routing/switching, VoIP, firewalls SIP, QoS, NAT, DHCP Options is a plus
  • Experience with Active Directory and Exchange is a plus
  • Experience in website Development, System Administration, and Web Server Administration is a plus

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and Office product suites
  • Verbal, written and presentation communication skills necessary to communicate with all levels of management and cross functional teams
  • Knowledge and skill to summarize and interpret data and draw conclusions
  • Time management and organizational skills as well as ability to work on multiple projects
  • System engineering/analytical/problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as cross-functional teams
