Position Overview
Provides compensation analysis and consultative support to corporate, operations and human resource
management on pay programs and policies under limited general direction. Conducts job analyses
and evaluates market data and pay practices. Serves as a resource on all matters related to

1. Responsible for the development, administration, and communication of compensation programs
which include base structure development (grade, geographical structures, etc.), short-term
incentive, and long-term incentive programs and job analyses.
2. Provides consultative and analytical support to corporate, field and human resource management
on compensation strategies, programs, issues and practices
3. Conducts complex research and analyses to evaluate compensation plan performance and provide
insight to business leaders on plan outcomes
4. Analyzes and evaluates job documentation and prepares job descriptions to support job
evaluation, incentive plan design, recruitment, and performance management
5. Applies standardized methods to the analysis and review of internal pay equity and recommends
pay adjustments
6. Leads the administration of one or more compensation programs such as the annual merit
increase cycle, incentive plans and recognition programs, including analysis and reporting
7. Researches, analyzes and evaluates market data and pay practices; participates in compensation
8. Analyzes internal pay equity, documents and recommends pay adjustments; prepares and
analyzes changes in wages and salaries for pay policy compliance
9. Contributes to the design, development and implementation of compensation communication and
training materials (e.g., incentive plan documentation, merit program communications, FLSA
compliance training)

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of human resources, compensation, finance or related experience required
  • SPHR, PHR, and/or CCP credentials strongly preferred
